Product Description:
|
Carrier's line of Global Network Modules are designed to provide added software functionality to the standard ComfortWORKS software package. They consist of modular hardware devices that connect to the network as system elements; have preprogrammed functionality; and in some cases have memory storage and virtual point capacity.
|
Product Application(s):
|
Applications vary by device:
Data Collection and Transfer Option.
Accumulates and processes Consumable, Runtime, and History data for advanced energy and O&M reporting capabilities. Transfer allows user to transmit and/or broadcast point data from one system element to another or multiple elements.
Facility Time Schedule Option.
Allows for enhanced and more flexible occupancy and equipment scheduling for extremely large or specialized facilities using the CCN system.
Loadshed Option.
Automatically reduces electrical demand according to operator input load limits. Sends commands to individual controllers as programmed.
Tenant Billing/Timed Override Option.
Records amount of time a tenant exceeds scheduled occupancy.
Timed Force Option.
Allows operator to schedule (on and off) forced changes to individual points or groups of points. Normal CCN functionality is totally manual.
Water System Manager.
Provides a control link between source and terminal equipment for the purpose of optimizing performance. Includes enable and disabling sources, reset of source supply temperature based on terminal loads, and optimal efficiency control of source equipment.
Chiller System Manager.
Allows for advanced options and optimization of multiple chiller source equipment. This module (when packaged as CHILLERVISOR Option) works only with Carrier chillers and their installed controllers. Similar pre-programmed chiller plant control functionality can be purchased from Carrier for other vendor's chiller equipment using the Comfort Controller 6400 (General Purpose SCU).
