Product Description: Carrier's AirManager is an application-specific, pre-programmed controller for air-handling unit applications. AirManager comes pre-configured with I/O for the specific AHU and application (CV; VAV w/ IGV fan control; VAV w/ VSD fan control, etc.). Most points are dedicated to specific applications. AirManager is sold as a complete package that also includes of the control enclosure and all required sensors, actuators, valves, transformers, relays, circuit breakers and terminal blocks.
Product Application(s): Carrier's AirManager can be purchased for constant volume, VAV w/inlet guide vane, or VAV w/variable speed drive applications. AirManager is designed for both existing (retrofit) and new units. AirManager is installed as the Carrier PIC (Product Integrated Controller) on new units ordered from Carrier. AirManager is designed to control all AHU fans; dampers; heating and cooling coils. A Comfort Controller (general-purpose controller) is required for sequences that are not covered by AirManager's preprogrammed routines.
