Product Description: Lingo is an expandable, programmable primary controller and supervisory interface with 21 on-board I/O (expandable to 128 control modules) and an on-board touch-screen display. Each Lingo can provide global communications support for up to 128 Logic One secondary controllers on the secondary LAN and communicates with other primary controllers and workstations on the primary LAN. It also has a built in modem and a 3.5" disk drive. Can network 32 Lingo's via TSP or Ethernet. EP/2 is an older version of the Lingo, with less memory and processor power and with an on-board keypad and LCD display. The EP/2 is being replaced by the Lingo.
Product Application(s): Lingo (and EP/2) are designed to provide custom control for central plant, HVAC systems, and commercial refrigeration systems, as well as electrical loads such as lighting panels and motor control centers via secondary controllers. Lingo is the largest and most powerful controller in the Novar line and is intended for use with larger installations (typically networked Lingo's in multiple-building or campus applications).
