Product Name(s): DX-9100-8154 Extended Digital Controller; DX-9100-8454 Extended Digital Controller
Product Description: The DX-9100 Series of controllers are general-purpose, programmable secondary control units. The DX-9100-8154 and -8454 are similar except for a difference in analog output capability. They are polled by an NCM (SI) during normal operation and can also operate stand-alone. The DX-Series contain 30 I/O onboard, expandable to 94 total I/O.
Product Application(s): The DX-9100 Series is recommended for all general purpose HVAC applications including air-handling units, chillers/boiler/central plant control and distribution systems, data acquisition, and other related industry applications.

Expander Boards The DX-9100 uses an array of expansion (XP) and extension modules (XT) in addition to the on-board I/O. Many similar modules below vary only in the type of relay or output. See vendor for specific details. Note that calibration is different between the Main Module and the XP Modules: The XP Module AIs cannot be calibrated, and RTD input values cannot be changed at all. To allow for full calibration of expansion points, use devices with 'span' pot on expansion modules

Can trend data be stored in this controller? No
How many total trend values can be stored? Not applicable
What is the controllers role in trending? None. Trend points data is called by the SI (NCM) and stored temporarily before being archived at the OWS.
Can controller be programmed to 'push' data to archive or are trends 'pulled' from controller?
When full, does controller automatically send up trend data, overwrite data, or stop logging data? Not applicable
Programming Method(s) The GX-9100 Programming Tool is a graphical programming tool that is used to program logic that is resident in the DX-9100 and DX-9200 controllers. GX-9100 software is run on a laptop that must be direct-connected to the DX-9100, or it may be used on the operator workstation.
Resident vs Non-Resident Program Execution The DX-9100 may receive external instructions and overrides via the N2 network from either JC-Basic line-based programming or GPL graphical programming resident in NCMs and programmable from the operator workstation.
